Figuring out these 12 marathons are a bit of a pain. My wish list is as follows...
(in no particular order)
Seattle
NYC
Los Angeles
Chicago
Austin
Phoenix
Las Vegas
Miami
Philadelphia
New Orleans
Washington,DC
San Diego
Because a few of these marathons are too close together I wont be able to do New Orleans or Washington DC. Im also going to have to skip Philly and San Diego.
Im working to figure out which ones would be good to do instead. July August and September are a bit tricky. Looks like Ill have to do much smaller marathons for these months.
As of now it looks like this...
Jan - Phoenix, Az
Feb - Austin, TX
Mar - Los Angeles, CA
Apr - Las Vegas, NV
May - Cleveland, OH
Jun - Seattle, WA
Jul - ?
Aug - ?
Sep - ?
Oct - Chicago, IL
Nov - NYC, NY
Dec - Miami, FL
I am already signed up for Phoenix and about to buy Austin and LA. Wish me luck. And please help spread the word. Trying hard to get publicity for this stuff. thank you.

I keep my fingers crossed :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing to be doing and I wish you the best of luck.
ReplyDeleteI did, however, notice there were no places in the South. Is there any particular reason for that? As a Southerner, I can tell you we give everything we can and help others who need it when we can.
Well,if you're in Nashville, let me know how I can help.
For August, you could run the CRIM in Flint, Michigan. Just a suggestion. I think what you are doing is amazing. Good luck to you!
ReplyDeleteThis is a cool thing you are doing! I found this link helpful:

July: San Fran / Hawaii / Grandfather Mtn (Western North Carolina)
Aug: Crater Lake (Oregon)
Sept:???
Good Luck!
I see you've got Chicago for your October marathon, but if you want to try something new, check out Ridge to Bridge in NC: http://www.leetiming.com/R2BM_Info.html It is a beautiful course, and a very small event (300 runner cap).
ReplyDeleteEither way, best of luck to you in all this! If you can survive Pilate's you can do anything ;)
